If you notice a potentially fraudulent ACH Pull (also known as an ACH Debit) in your account, you have the option to dispute the transaction.
What Is an ACH Pull?
An ACH Pull is a type of ACH transaction where funds are withdrawn from your account by a third party. These arrangements are commonly used for recurring payments with credit card companies, utility providers, mortgage lenders, or other external parties. To set this up, you typically provide your account and routing numbers, allowing the third party to automatically withdraw funds when payments are due.
Who Can Submit an ACH Pull Dispute?
Only business owners with Administrator permissions are authorized to submit ACH Pull disputes. This is because disputes require a signature, and the signatory must be an authorized user of the account.
